ASI Port Locations

American Sailing Institute has 4 ports in Michigan.

Three of the four ASI Sailboats are located in the Lower South East Michigan Detroit Metro area. Two are inland lakes (Kent Lake and Stony Creek Lake) for our Level 1 Interlakes and one for our three keelboats (lake St. Clair). ASI also has a “Up North” Port each season for our Time Share keelboat.

Kent Lake at Kensington Metropark, Milford MI.:
At the East Boat Launch of Kent lake ASI has our Level One Interlakes.
Stony Creek Lake at Stony Creek Metropark, Shelby Township:
At the boat storage area across from the boat launch ASI has our Level One Interlakes.
Jefferson Beach Marina (JBM), 24400 Jefferson Ave, St Clair Shores :
At JBM are ASI Keelboats, used for Level 2, 3 and 4.
ASI “Up North Ports” include (Location varies): Little Current, Charlevoix, Petoskey, De Tour Village, Mackinaw City, and St Ignace.

Kent Lake

Kent Lake at Kensington Metropark, Milford MI.

Directions;
Exit at the Kent Lake Road (North) off of I-96.
ASI is at the East Boat Launch. Its the 1st left after the Metro park entrance from Kent Road, then down to the ramp area.
Note: There’s a Metro Park daily entry fee or you can buy a sticker that’s good for a year. Check fees at the entry toll booth.

Stony Creek Lake

Stony Creek Lake at Stony Creek Metropark, Shelby Township, MI.

Directions;

West on 26 Mile Road, off of M-53 N.
ASI boats are stored in the boat storage area at Stony Metropark.

Jefferson Beach Marina (JBM)

Jefferson Beach Marina (JBM), 24400 Jefferson Ave, St Clair Shores :
At JBM are ASI Keelboats, used for Level 2, 3 and 4.

Directions;

Follow 696 east to St Clair Shores, take exit 228 from I94 west, and continue on East 10 mile RD. , Jefferson Ave to Harry Stahl Blvd.

Safe Harbor Jefferson Beach is at 24400 Jefferson Ave., St Clair Shores Mich.

Note: You will need a gate code to enter the JBM marina.
