New Web Site Intro

So to continue our intro to the upcoming new web site.
As stated before most of the site is for potential new members. It’s meant to show we are active, friendly, join-able and that we are real people enjoying (teaching and) sailing. Most all member related info is under the tab “Members“. More on that tab later.

On our Home page we offer links to “contact us” and to class info and descriptions. (tell your friends)

We offer a ASI sailing welcome video that can be seen at Youtube.
This video was made by Andrew and is a very nice way to actually see what we experience and are excited to share.

Here’s the other menu options(in general terms);

Some potential members will want to serf around, others will just want the fees, start dates and how do I sign up. Whichever group your future member is in they can do it. Remember when the new site goes live it will still be www.sailASI.org

Home Port -Starting point, ask your future members to check out the video, follow the links and click on contact us to request information or call Lisa. An overview, and fees
Under this isCaptains Corner – a members blog, stories, adventures, news, the Burgee(link) . Please send us your stories.

Classes – Class description, schedule for all levels.

Welcome – a personal welcome, FAQ’s, maps, donate, more.

Our Fleet – sailing pics and videos, links, event album, our Fleet.

Students – info to help new students

Members – more on this tab later. (L2,3,4 check out our timeshare calendar here)

Events Calendar – this is the general club Google calendar (there are other calendars on the site), Google has some nice features we will talk about later.

Contact Us – phone #, email, address and a form that can be directly submitted to Lisa for membership info.

Students are already starting to sign up!
Please make it a point to share our club info and web site www.sailASI.org ;
and Facebook www.facebook.com/AmericanSailingInstitute
with your friends. Have you posted our club link/s on your personal Facebook page every week for example? We have flyers you can put up also, just ask.

Nows the perfect time to start directing future members to our club.

Thanks for your attention and interest.
